As NYPS approaches its 10th anniversary season, I, Elena Leonova, have recognized the achievement of members who have shown consistent artistic excellence in solo or chamber ensemble performances. These members have also exhibited strong commitment to the development and mission of NYPS and are therefore being awarded with a status of NYPS Performer in Residence.

The names are:

Carl Dicasol,
Alok Dutt,
Len Horovitz,
Andrew Pak,
June Wu,
Wei-Jen Yuan

Congratulations to all!

We hope to see continued growth in the number of NYPS Performers in Residence, as new and established members work to meet the following criteria. To become a NYPS Performer in Residence members will be required to commit himself/ herself  to play in at least 3 concerts a year for 3 years. Each performer will then be offered the option to perform in one additional concert, in addition to the other 3 concert commitments. Performers in Residence will receive opportunities to play with guest artists in chamber ensembles, and priority in participation of special events with NYPS celebrating its 10th year anniversary.
